Judith “Judy” Ann Michener, 76, of Holmen, passed away peacefully from a long battle with Sarcoidosis at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse on Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was born October 31, 1936 to Oscar and Emily Gunderson.

Judy had a love for life and was always concerned for everyone else even through her illness. She was very proud of her faith.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clarence “Bud” Michener; brother, Dennis (Carol) Gunderson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Michener; parents; brothers, Duane Gunderson, Carl Gunderson, and Steve Gunderson.

The family would like to thank Pastor Keith Habegger and the care providers at Gundersen Health System.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at Holmen Baptist Church, W7656 W McHugh Ct., Holmen, with a luncheon immediately following. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
