Justin J. Betz
With heavy hearts we bid farewell to Justin J. Betz. Born in La Crosse WI June 24th 1982. Justin was a proud father and devoted grandson and loving brother. He was a good friend to many. He tragically left us on January 19, 2025 at the age of 42. He left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
He will be loved and missed by family and friends. Children: Noah Betz & Lincoln, Thompson & Kiya Vanblaricome, “Grandma Corky” Martell, Brothers: Andy Martell (Lacey), Josh Martell (Stefanie), & Mason Haas (Ashley), Andrew Martell (nephew), Micah, Mikiyah & Mikariyah, Close family members: Rebecca & Dave Wilhelm, Agnes, Neal, Romi & Caz Pellowski, John (Jack) and Mary Martell, & Brian Hafner (Step dad).
Justin was preceded in death by his mother Shelley Hafner, daughter Alyssa Betz, son Caden Betz and uncle David Martell.
Justin’s radiant smile permeated everything he did. His legacy of helpful deeds were welcomed by all those he helped. He cherished every moment with his kids. He was taken too soon, but will remain forever in our hearts.
A visitation will be held at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00.

He was a very caring and helpful neighbor. This is so very sad.
My condolences he was a neighborhood friend along with his two brothers any Martell and Josh Martell growing up since teenagers he will be never forgotten.
So senseless,Why? Fights were fights back in the 80s and 90s on the Northside..Nobody shot anyone..I remember the Valentine’s throwing punches and of course Dave Whitewater knocked some people out but no guns were involved.Justin may you rest in peace ,I’m sure you are with your beautiful children you lost years earlier and loved ones..God Bless Bro

You were most definitely one of a kind JB. You don’t know how many lives you’ve impacted, you touched so many hearts in your lifetime and in the last couple of days. It was an honor to be your long time friend and I will forever cherish the friendship that we had.
