Onalaska – Kathleen Lenore Coryell (nee Hart) of Onalaska went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at age 67.

Born in La Peer, Michigan on Sunday, June 18, 1944, to James and Betty Hart, she is survived by a son, Jonathan and a daughter, Bethia. Kathy graduated from La Peer High School in 1962 and went on to study Christian education at Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music. She also received a degree in interior design from Western Technical College. She had a heart for youth and a passion for God’s word. Teaching was the joy of her life, especially teaching children about the love of Christ.

Kathy was also a master artisan with boundless creativity. She was often working on multiple projects. She had a great love of nature, was a voracious reader, and a devoted loving mother. Her kindness and compassion were without limit, and she always had a ready smile. She has impacted the lives of all who knew her in a profound and uplifting way. Her life was an inspiration and will continue to be.

A devoted follower of Christ, she played a significant role in the body of Christ. The love she had continues to shine undiminished in the lives of all the people she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice with heaven at her homecoming.

A celebration of life/memorial service will be held at La Crescent Evangelical Free Church at 1675 County Highway 6, La Crescent, Minn. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:30 A. M. with Pastor Dan Cravillion officiating. Visitation will be held at the Church from 9:30 A. M. to time of services. Interment will be at Green Mound Cemetery.

Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
