Korene Kay Wagner, 32, of La Crosse, died suddenly on December 18, 2013 in her home. She was born July 28, 1981 to Donald and Marla (Heinemann) Wagner.
Korene graduated from Holmen High School and attended WTC and Viterbo. She was a very gifted musician and artist. She was working towards a degree in music therapy to help people with disabilities.
She is survived by her parents, Donald and Marla Wagner; sister, Kayla Wagner; grandparents, Norma and Irvin Wagner, Grace Heinemann; uncles, Jeffrey (Beth) Wagner, Mark (Nancy) Wagner, Leslie (Linda) Heinemann; aunts, Karen (Jim) Getskow, Kathren (Mark Holt) Ames, Kristine (Craig) Shelton; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandpa, Merlin Heinemann; aunt Linda Heinemann.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family. “She will be sadly missed by her family and friends”
