La Rae A Hagen
La Rae A. Hagen, 82, of Onalaska passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in the comfort of her own
home surrounded by family. La Rae was born November 2, 1940, in Fargo, North Dakota, the daughter
of Leo and Ruby Huerd. She is survived by her two daughters: Fanci (Russ) Reynen and Titia Julian (Joe
Marcou); nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband
John Hagen who passed on January 1 st of this year.
Most people remember La Rae as the face of Casual Corner where she created beautiful window
displays at the Valley View mall. In the summer, her garden was always blooming and all were
welcomed in her backyard pool where she taught all her grandchildren to swim. In the winter, her home
was always decorated for the holidays with a fire going in the fireplace.
La Rae received exceptional care from Quality Comfort Care LLC, who loved her dearly. Special thanks to
St. Croix Hospice.
There will be a Celebration of Life for John and La Rae Hagen TBD.
Titia, very sorry for your loss. I hope you have comfort in your many years of happiness with your Mom.

I worked with laRae a long time at casual corner and nobody could do visual floor sets like LaRae. She was truly a master of her craft. We toke many girlfriend getaways one with her camper to Galena. So many great memories.
