Linda Maca, 72, of Onalaska, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Mulder Health Care Facility in West Salem following a brief illness with cancer.

She was born Sep. 18, 1947 in Monroe County to Clarence and Evelyn (Kenyon) Yahnke. She married Robert Maca on May 6, 1967 in Sparta, WI.

Over the years, Linda waitressed at several restaurants, including many years at the Tosa Club in La  Crosse. She later worked at the Badger Restaurant in Tomah and retired from the Kwik Trip Hearty Platter in Tomah.

She loved playing cards and bingo, and visiting with the other residents at her apartment complex in Onalaska.

Linda is survived by her children – Greg (Mindy) Yahnke of Pickwick, MN and Lynn (Karl) Parker of Onalaska, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her 7 siblings – Inez Raabe of Tomah, Delbert (Jan) Yahnke of Sparta, Dorothy Kirk of Lansing, Iowa, Vera Olson of Sparta, Viola (Dave) Molstad of Sparta, Mary (Henry) Beckler of Casa Grande, Arizona and Lois (Don) Osredkar of Spring Lake, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Evelyn, her husband, Robert, a daughter-in-law Lisa, brother in law’s Norton, Henry and Owen, and 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

A private family memorial will be held.
