Lisa Jolene Johnson
Lisa Jolene Johnson, 57, of Tomah, WI. passed away peacefully in the morning hours of December 12, 2022 in her home surrounded by loved ones.
Lisa was the daughter of William and Iva (Tracy) Milton and sister to William A. Milton. She was born on July 28, 1965 in Chicago, IL. She then moved to Camp Douglas, WI. in the 80’s. On June 3, 1989 she was united in marriage to Edward “Edd” Johnson, which took her to North Carolina, where together they raised 9 children. In 1999 they moved back to the area.
Lisa was a jack of all trades. She loved to try new things. She was currently working for Verizon Wireless, which she loved. Lisa was known for her love of all things Disney. She also loved gardening, being crafty, painting, and making new things. She was crazy about Christmastime, spending time with her family and snowman.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Edd; 9 children, Robert “Bobn/Rob” (Tiffany), Demetris “Dee”, Derrick, Brandy, Brittany (Kipp), Brandon “BJ”, Anthony, Bethany, Bradley; 11 grandchildren, Dakota “Cody”, Austin, Dalton, Seth, Ian, Meghan, Kole, Sabriel, Drake, Willow, Axel; one niece, Emily; one nephew, Logan; ad many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lorretta; grandfather, Robert; mother, Iva; father, William; aunt, Sandy; and uncles, Larry and Mike.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the VFW Hall in Tomah, 1618 South Superior Ave. Friends and family are invited to attend.
