Obituary
Lorrie Lee Hermanson
Lorrie Lee Hermanson, 70, of Onalaska, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Monday, July 29th, 2024. She was born June 4, 1954, in La Crosse to Orvis and Eva.
She graduated from Logan High in 1972. Lorrie started working at the Garment Company right out of high school and then Northern Engraving, where she met Thomas Hermanson, and the two were married in November of 1980 and later divorced. From that marriage, she had two children: Gregory and Shayla. Lorrie also worked at Wal-Mart for several years until her health no longer allowed her to work. In 2008, Lorrie became a Grandma or Grammy to Marcello and then Avery in 2010. They were Grammys biggest boy and littlest boy, and she loved them more than anything.
Lorrie had the best sense of humor and told it how it was. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, and we will cherish those memories forever!
She is survived by her children, Gregory and his husband John, Shayla and her husband Kevin, and her pride and joy, her grandchildren Marcello and Avery Jones. Her Sister Kathy (Phil Page), Nieces Becky (Alan Dutton), Heather (Aaron Mattison), Karla Owen and Tina Dwyer, and her nephew Tim (Kristina) Page.
She is predeceaded in death by her parents, her brother Michael Dwyer, and nephew John Dwyer.
The family will hold a private family gathering at a later date.
We love you, Mom!
Sorry to read this, worked with Lorrie at Garment Company, and it was correct that she had a good sense of humor, can’t say how often we would all laugh. I used to see her at Walmart too. Again, so sorry for your loss.
So sorry to hear of Lorries passing. I haven’t seen Lorrie for many years but thought of her so often. Lorrie was a fun person and very caring. We had many great memories from high school years even though she attended Logan and I was at Central. Rest in peace. Lorrie will have a happy reunion with her family that has gone on before her. My sympathy to her family and her sister Kathy.
