Louise “Lou” L. Blashaski, 89, of Bangor, passed away December 20, 2013 at Mulder Health Care Facility in West Salem.  She was born August 25, 1924 to Harry and Clara (Miller) Garbers.  She married Elmer Blashaski in 1942.

She is survived by her sons, Roy (Vicki) of Holmen, Wis., Gary (Carol) of Bangor, Wis., John (Jackie) of Holmen, Wis.; grandchildren, Connie (Matt) Teller, Katie (Jim Schultz) Blashaski, Lynn (Todd) Shattuck, Lori (Randy) Hodges, Rene Clark, Ron (Chelsie) Blashaski, Jennifer (Mark) Peterson, Jack (LeAnn) Lyon, Loni Lyon; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Austin, Ashley, Jacob, Daniel, Kent, Joshua, Jacob, Cora, Amaya, Haley, Dylan, Isaac, Cooper, Ella, Rachel, Brianna, Malin; brother, Ron (Nina) Garbers; sister-in-law, Violet Garbers; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; son Ron and an infant son; grandson, Cory Clark; parents; brother, Herbert Garbers; sisters, Arlene (Walter) Hemker, Ardell (Joel) Beall, Marjorie (Curtis) Jenkins.

The family would like to thank the care providers of Gundersen Health System and Mulder Health Care Facility.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, S. 16^th Street, Bangor, WI.  The Rev. Bob Hegenbarth will officiate.  Interment will be held at the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church.  Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
