Marilyn Elizabeth Dewester, 86, of Onalaska, passed away July 12, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 25, 1928 to Mathew and Helen Willems. She married Clarence Dewester in 1946.

Marilyn enjoyed collecting and making ceramic dolls, playing bingo. She mostly enjoyed the time she had with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Paul (Lois) Dewester, Gary Dewester; daughter, Lynda (Todd) Jacobs; grandchildren, Timothy, Paul Jr, and David (Ashley) Dewester, Jennifer Belongia, Mark Jacobs, Brittany Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Jason, Caleb, Sebastian, Isabell, Austin, Addison; sister-in-law, Patricia Willems; daughter-in-law, Barbara Dewester; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband (March 2001); sons, David and Larry; parents; and one brother, Ralph.

The family would like to thank the care providers of Gundersen Health System Hospice.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Coulee Region Cremation Group and Funeral Home, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service at the funeral home.
