Marion A. Paulson Hogden

Marion A. Paulson Hogden ,98, passed away peacefully at her home on November 16, 2023.

She was born in Elroy Wisconsin on November 24, 1924. She married Gordon Paulson on May 11,1942. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1982. They raised eight children together Sandy (Jim) Allen Julie (Mike) Short Jane (Edward) Ryan Mary Jo (Tom) Jansky Bev (Steve)Kellicut and her only son Bill Paulson, Barb (Lloyd) Gleason Laura (Richie) Reichgelt.

She married Art Hogden on June 12, 1986 and he passed away on May 3, 1993.

Marion’s daughter Julie Paulson Short preceded her in death on December 23, 2022.

She also had 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Marion is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews, and two of Art’s daughters, Judy Prowant and Mary Thompson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.  Interment will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.

A special thank you to Jessica Bumgarner for her help, kindness and compassion.

Thank you to Gundersen Hospice and Heart to Hearth Care, Vicki St.Mary and Sue Pederson, who supported our mother at this difficult time.

      What a Terrific Mom, and a great infectious smile, especially when her daughters were given the beans put on by a waiter, your Mom loved that. Her smile is and will be missed. Condolences to all!!!
