Marjorie Marie Dixon, 89, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Hillview Healthcare Center in La Crosse. She was born February 21, 1923 to Elmer and Della Amann in La Crosse. She married Harold Dixon May 24, 1947 in La Crosse.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Susan (John) MacLachlan, Nancy (Cory Andrews) Dixon; grandsons, Ian and Casey MacLachlan; brothers, Blaine (Emma) Amann, Thomas (Marcia) Amann; sisters-in-law, Linda Amann; several nieces, nephews and special friends, Phyllis and Adele.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Wayne; and niece, Beth.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hillview Healthcare Center for their wonderful care.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated with a private interment at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
