Mark James Kane Jr
Mark James Kane Jr., 68, of Onalaska, passed away peacefully in his home on January 19, 2016. He was born in Owatonna, MN to Mark Kane Sr and Dorothy Robinson. He married Julie (Tulgren) Kane in 2001 in Onalaska.
Mark grew up on the North Side of La Crosse and thought of himself as a “Northsider”. After attending Logan High School, Mark enlisted in the US Navy and had 2 tours of Vietnam. He worked at Norplex for more than 30 years. In his later years, he worked at Empire Screen Printing in Onalaska.
Mark enjoyed harness racing, Nascar, and the Green Bay Packers.
Mark is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Jessica, Michelle; step-son, Andrew; grandchildren, Zachary, Mitchell; step-grandsons, Brady, Cooper; sisters, Debbie (Neil) Fredrickson, Cindy (James) Brush; nieces, Autum (Codi) Jacobs, Michael Smith, Caity Rae Brush, James Fredrickson, Alexandra Fredrickson; and many other relatives and friends.
Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Kane) Krajewski and father, Mark James Kane Sr.
Private services will be held at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Debbie and Cindy’s I am so sorry to hear about Jimmy passing. Most of the memories I have of LaCrosse were the time he and I Had together. Grand mom telling US TO BE GOOD BOYS. And your Mom giving us what for for some of the crazy things we would do.

We are so sorry to hear about BoBo, he had an infectious laugh and we really loved his sense of humor and his vibrant love of life. He will put a void in our hearts, May you have peace through this difficult time.
