Mary Ann Uhler
Mary Ann Uhler, 68, of LaCrosse passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 surrounded by her family. Mary was born June 24, 1945 in LaCrosse to Leonard and Helen (Stanek) Corbett. Mary graduated from Logan High School. She married Richard Uhler on February 12, 1966 at St. James Catholic Church in LaCrosse.
Mary enjoyed her career as a Teacher’s Aide for the Onalaska School District. Mary enjoyed traveling, especially visiting her grandchildren in Seattle and visiting Northern Wisconsin for fishing and meeting new friends.
Mary is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Dana (Matthew) Kahn; two grandchildren, Samantha and Max; and sister Jean Havlik. and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Helen.
A funeral mass will be at 10 am on Saturday July 27, 2013 at St. James the Less Catholic Church in La Crosse with a visitation from 9 am until the time of the mass at the church. A burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in La Crosse. Fr. Robert Schaller will officiate. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
So sorry to hear about Mary’s death. She was a shining light at Fauver Hill Kindergarten Center all those years ago…always positive and ready to offer her big smile and gentle hugs to staff and students alike. I will miss her! My sympathy to you all!
