Michael Benedict LaFleur Jr, 84, of La Crosse and formerly of New Richmond, MN, passed away April 8, 2022 Gundersen Health System of La Crosse.  He was born February 8, 1938 to Elaine Brown and Michael LaFleur Sr.

Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was also a civil war buff.  He served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1961.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Kelly) LaFleur III and their children, Nicole (Steven) Knaus and Cassie (Andrew) Redmond; daughters, Jamie (Ken) Nelson, Denise (Tom) Yancy; brother, Mort (Sue) LaFleur and their children, Julie LaFleur, Laurie (Bruce) LaFleur, Toni (Tony) Baisi; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Elaine, Alex, Isabelle, Timothy, Savannah, Alaina, Lindsey, Deven, Jenny, Donny, Wiona, Hunter, Jesse, Damion and Ellie; and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents, Mike and Elaine; daughter, Jamie; son-in-law, Mark.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 20^th, 2022 at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St, Onalaska from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.  Military Honors will take place at the conclusion of the gathering at 6:30 pm.
