Michael Wayne Volden
Michael Wayne Volden, 61, of Onalaska, Passed away peacefully on Monday October 15th 2018 In his home. He was born on November 23rd 1956 to Don and Shirley Volden. He married Nancy Chambers on December 7th 1974 in La Crosse, WI.
Mike enjoyed his Monday night basketball with his buddies, classic cars, relaxing on his boat, running marathons with his daughter. Watching Badger basketball and football. Talking Badgers with his son.
Mike is survived by his wife Nancy, son Steve, his wife Lynne and their son Isaac, his daughter Jenna her boyfriend Justin, all from Arizona. His parents, one brother Darren, 4 nephews and their families. One niece, sister-in-law Kathy, brother-in-law Gary Chambers. Also, numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, father-in-law, mother-in-law and Maggie his beloved yellow lab.
The family would like to thank the Onalaska fire department, Onalaska police department, 911 dispatch. Family my sister Kathy and brother Gary, special friends Kari, John, Annette, Mike, Lori and my cousin Barbara and Paul and all who have sent their love and support.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 20th, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in The Gathering Place at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St. Onalaska.
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Our deepest condolences to Nancy and all the other familymembers Michael left behind. We looked forward to meet Nancy again here in Norway next summer and to meet Michael in person, But the destiny planned it different. We are so sorry on behalf of all of you.

I am so sorry to learn of Mike’s passing. May all of the beautiful memories each of you have somehow bring you comfort. He may be gone from this earth, but he will forever be in your hearts. My condolences to the whole family.
