Michele G. (Viner) Kiesling

Michelle Gay Kiesling, 58, of La Crosse, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, in her home with her three dogs by her side.

Shelly loved spending her time on the beaches of Florida and listening to Elvis music.  Most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Kiesling; son, Travis Christenson; grandsons, Cage and Jaysyn Christenson; step daughter, Coral Johnson and her children, Ayla, Bryden, and Oaklee; sister, Cathy (Steve) Petranek; two nieces, Cassandra (Ryan Rothering), Melissa Petranek and her fiancé Tyler Hoerres; mother in law, Geraldine Hefti; sisters in law, Bev Kiesling, Sharon (John) Kiesling, Nancy (Jim) Eggen, Cindi Kiesling, Pam (Jeff) Kiesling, Carrie Stollte, Mary (Gary) Hefti, Nancy Muller; brothers in law, Harry (Sue) Brect, Tom (Roxie) Kiesling; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many, friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Deanna Viner; father in law, Harold Hefti; paternal grandparents, Vilas and Clara Viner; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Gladys Slaback; brothers in law, Mike Kiesling, LeRoy Kiesling, and Ray Muller.

The family would like to send a very special thank you to everyone from Gundersen Health System Hospice in La Crosse.  You touched not only Shelly’s life, but her family’s also.  There are no words to tell how much you were appreciated. God bless you all.  The family would also like to say a special thank you to Aunt Annie.

A celebration of Shelly’s life will be held at Sam’s Bar at a later date.

Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
