Nancy Mary-Ann Strizel, 69, of La Crosse and formerly of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully by family on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in her home in La Crosse.

She was born on January 2, 1942 to Ervin and Monica (Pettke) Bandlow. She married Richard John Stizel on October 31, 1964 in Milwaukee.

 

She was a champion horse rider, a successful league and tournament bowler, loved reading mystery-thriller books, but most of all was a proud mom and grandma.

 

Nancy is survived by her sons,David (Dragica) Strizel, Dan (Lisa) Strizel; 3 grandchildren, Maya, Aidan, and Ashley; sister-in-law, Jean.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Strizel; and brother, Norby Bandlow.
