Nancy Rae King
Nancy Rae King, 59, of La Crosse, passed away May 19, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born October 23, 1956 to Calvin and Iris (Olson) Grosskopf. She married Kenneth King on November 16, 1974 and later divorced.
Nancy enjoyed her flowers and gardening, dancing cross stitching and donating her crotchet items to the cancer center. She farmed tobacco and raised three children with her former husband Kenneth King. She later ran the Starlight Karaoke for a number of years with her partner in life, Larry Mueller. She loved her cat “Dakota” and mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Leslie (Thomas) Fell, Jill King, John (Lisa) King; grandchildren, Ryan and Emily Fell, Marissa and Peyton King; father, Calvin (Sue) Grosskopf; siblings, Steve (Rhonda) Grosskopf, Cynthia Wolfe, Gregory (Karen) Grosskopf, Kim (Charles) Nelson, Carrie Roberts; life partner, Larry Mueller and his family; former husband, Kenneth King; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Iris and brother, Kevin Grosskopf.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Farnen and his staff as well as the Medical Oncology Staff at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
Private family services will be held at the graveside A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
