Nicolas “Nick” Trujillo Sr, 70, of North Bend, passed away peacefully at home by his family on Thursday, January 30, 2014. He was born July 11, 1943 to Ignacio and Jasinta Trujillo. He married Sharon Leis on October 14, 1983 in Huron, South Dakota.

Nick was the owner of Nick’s Pawn, Nick’s Affordable Autos in Black River Falls, WI, North Bend Processing and Nico’s Mexican Restaurant. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; 1 daughter, Kimberly (Salvador) Rubalcaba of Brush, CO; 3 sons, Steven of Huron SD, Joshua (Heather) of North Bend, WI, Nicholas Jr (Sena Davies) of Black River Falls, WI; 8 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Nancy Rodarte of Fort Morgan, CO, Sally (Larry) Peterson of Clark, MO, Maria Ybarra of Greeley, CO, May (Fred) Bunjes of Greeley, Co; 1 brother, Ruben (Renee) Trujillo of Sterling, CO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Nick’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services at this time. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
