Norman Eugene Hanson, 73, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2015 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.  He was born on August 1, 1942 to Hilmer and Ruth Hanson.

Norman had a great sense of humor and loved to visit with his family and friends.  He also loved going to the casino.  Later in his life he enjoyed watching old western movies and he also loved his Coca Cola.  Norman worked for 38 years at Torrance Casting.

He is survived by two brothers, Gary and Jim of La Crosse; two sisters, Becky of La Crosse, and Debbie (Scott) Guenther of Onalaska; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harlen, Donald, David; and three sisters, Elizabeth, Janet, and Annabell.

The family would like to thank the staff at Monarch Manor, Dr. Sharma, and all the nursing staff at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
