Donna was born February 3, 1927 in La Crosse, WI and was the oldest of nine children of George and Gladys (LaPoint) Huber. She graduated from Aquinas High School in 1945. After graduation, she worked at Gundersen Lutheran as a medical secretary and then at Fort McCoy.
Donna married William (Bill) Jones on March 31, 1951. Together they raised five children and have 14 grandchildren. In 1962, Bill and Donna moved to Brigham City, UT, where they lived, raised their children and had wonderful friends for 40 years. In 2002, they moved back to the La Crosse area to be close to family.
Donna’s greatest joys were spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing bridge, traveling, laughing and dancing with Bill. She’ll always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and the laughter she shared with everyone; giving us the gift of making the best of difficult situations.
