Harry Gilbert Trowbridge, age 98 of Arcadia WI, passed away peacefully on 8/26/2016 in Grandview Care Center.  He was born on 8/19/1918 to Robert and Winifred (Gibb) Trowbridge.  He married Dee Kolstad on 9/7/1942 at Tamarak Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his daughter’s Neome (Mike) Andre, Joy Tyvand, Winifred Evensen, 10 Grandsons, 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dee, his daughter Naomi Lindberg, grandson Jason Evensen and seven brothers and sisters.

He loved to golf, walk and  read.  He volunteered many hours to his dedication for the Lions Club and Luther Park Bible Camp.  Many have fond memories of Harry and Dee walking down the street hand-in-hand.

Harry and his family say a special thank you to Grandview Care Center and St Croix Hospice.

We invite you to celebrate Harry’s life at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 2nd at Trempealeau United Methodist Church.  Pastor Mary Beth Scow will officiate. A 1:30 PM visitation will proceed the service, with a luncheon to follow at the church on Friday. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

Memorials are preferred to Luther Park Bible Camp, Trempealeau United Methodist Missions, Grand View Care Center or St Croix Hospice.
