Mark Anthony Roycraft

Mark Anthony Roycraft, 69 of Onalaska, Wis. and formerly of Winona, died suddenly on Monday, October 1, 2018. Mark was born in Eau Claire, Wis. to Paul Roycraft and Marjorie (Nelson) Roycraft.

Mark graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1967, whose class had the distinction of being the last class to graduate from the old high school on Broadway.

He worked for many companies throughout his life including the Eau Claire Leader Telegram, Metro Marketing, and the kitchen at the La Crosse County Jail. He retired from City Brewery, and most recently went back to work part time doing custodial work for Comfort Inn and Suites and Quality Inn. He took pride in a job well done, no matter what the task.

Mark was known for his sense of humor and his keen sense of style. His hat and earring collection were second to none.

He lived a simple life, but his dreams were many. His love of music, his family, and his church brought him peace and contentment. Mark brought smiles to everyone he met. He loved his Harley, the Green Bay Packers, the La Crosse Loggers, and space dogs.

Mark is survived by his son, Adam of Saint Paul, Minn.; sisters, Pat Schultz of Beloit, Wis., and Mary (Jim) Veraguth of Fountain City, Wis.; brother-in-law, Gary Greene of La Crosse, Wis.; nephews, Robert Allen Curtiss of La Crosse, Wis., and Joshua (Diana Olah) Greene of Galesville, Wis.; nieces, Stacey (Dave) Rebhahn of Beloit, Wis., Becca Osmond of Clearwater, Fla., Kim (Tony) Jenkins of Shalimar, Fla., Melissa (Richard Cowgill) Veraguth, and Monica Veraguth both of Winona, Minn.; great nephews and nieces, Dylan Simmons, Alisha (Jeremy Lawrence) Steele, Alexis Collins, all of La Crosse, Haevyn Greene, Avery Greene, Able Greene all of Galesville, Chase Segovia, Chandler Rebhahn, Christian Rebhahn, all of Beloit, Wis., Elijah (Charlene) Ortega of Knoxville, Tenn., and Myles Jenkins, Shalimar, Fla.; great-great nieces and nephews, Kayden Simmons, Maddison Peek, Carter Lawrence, Owen Lawrence, Aubriana Collins and Hugo Rodriquez Jr.; lifelong friend Neal Brown, his church family, and many, many friends and acquaintances.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Roycraft, Marjorie (Nelson) Palubicki, and step-father Stanley Palubicki; brother, Steven Palubicki; sister, Connie Greene; brother-in-law, Jim Schultz; niece, Kristina Steele Rodriguez; and great nephew Reed Turner.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1901 W. City Hwy 16, West Salem, Wis. Burial will be held at a later date.
