I am very blessed to have had Rollie Solberg as my Uncle. He was, and always will be one of the finest men I have ever known. He was a self made man who derived great pleasure from giving back to his community. He was an astute business man, and a great teacher. He was dead serious when called for, but wasn’t above some shenanigans when he thought it he could pull it off. He quietly helped many who were in need because it was the right thing to do. He respected honesty and integrity, and suffered no fools. Above all else, he fiercely loved his family and looked out for all of them. He was, and always will be the kind of man that makes our country great. I will forever miss him, his laughter, and his wisdom. I am honored to be his niece.

It was an honor and privilege for me to work with Rollie during my years in the Wisconsin Legislature. He was such a dedicated and respected public servant and gave so much to the many community causes he believed in. I enjoyed his counsel and friendship….he always was a gentleman and a thoughtful leader. My sympathy to his family in the loss of this truly wonderful man.
