Pamela “Dixie” Stone
Pamela “Dixie” Mae Stone, of La Crosse, died May 8, 2015 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born November 25, 1955 and preceeded in death by George A Stone and Maybelle Bice “B” Bella.
Survived by children Michelle (Daniel) Mcdowell, Paul Stone; grandchildren, Stephan Zill, Alaina, Amiya, Dj Mcdowell, Lydia, Kamryn, Jd Stone; and many many friends she considered family.
Dixie lived life to the fullest. Her heart was pure,cHer soul was beautiful, Her smile shined a mile! When we seen stones, she Saw diamonds! Her memory will last forever! “Don’t worry, be happy”
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St., Onalaska with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A celebration of life to follow at Dewey’s Side St Saloon 4:00 pm with Open “Dixie” Jam starting at 6:00 pm.
I am very sad to hear Pam passed away. As Pam’s cousin, I had the privilege of hanging out with her as a child. She was always full of smiles and the apple of her father’s eye. Indeed, his death left a huge void in her life. Although Pam met with many challenges in her life she always seemed to work it out,… I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit her on Tuesday in the hospital. I asked her if she knew where she was going, and she answered with an resounding, YES ! She knew her Lord Jesus Christ would be their along with many of her loved ones who journeyed before her. So today I thank God for His promise of everlasting life and His promise to all of us who believe in Him.
RIP SWEET LADIES! WE LOVE YOU! SEE YA WHEN WE GET THERE!!
