Obituary
Paul Allen Leske
Paul Allen Leske, of La Crosse, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, while doing what he loved most—driving semi. He was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed.
Paul was born on September 8, 1961, in La Crosse to Lorraine Niedfeldt (Leske). Lorraine later married Allen Leske, who lovingly adopted Paul as his own.
In 1979, Paul proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a truck driver. After completing his service in 1981, he returned home to assist his grandparents with their farm—an experience that shaped his work ethic and grounded his life.
Paul and Sandra were married and later divorced. Together, they shared 31 years of marriage and raised three sons: Brandon, Nicholas, and Nathanial.
Throughout his life, Paul explored many career paths and became a man of wide-ranging skills. In his early adulthood, he worked as a mechanic, milk truck driver, home fuel delivery driver, and with his father-in-law at Breidel Construction. He later worked as a gas and diesel fuel truck driver. He ultimately found his true calling as an over-the-road truck driver, a profession he embraced wholeheartedly.
Paul had a lifelong passion for cars. Growing up, he could often be found tinkering in the garage, fixing up vehicles with his buddies or his father, Al. He also cherished his time farming on his grandparents’ property and working as a farmhand.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine; his father, Allen; his sister, Joan; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his brother, Mark (Mary) of West Salem, WI; his former wife, Sandra, with whom he shared three sons; and his sons: Brandon (Christina) of La Crescent, MN; Nicholas (Heather) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and Nathanial (Stephanie) of La Crosse, WI. He also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren—Austin, Harrison, and Olivia—along with many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory forward.
His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from Noon to 2:00 pm at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, WI. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He was a great person and will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with you and your families.
