Obituary
Randy Carl Frauenkron
Randy Carl Fauenkron, 74, of Holmen passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024 in his home. He was born July 28, 1950 to Juanita Geneva Boldt and Ralph Edwin Frauenkron.
Randy was an intellectual thinker and avid lover of books, always seeking knowledge and engaging in thoughtful conversations. He had a way with words and lyrics, his records always close by. A proud and devoted “dad” to his beloved cats, he shared a special bond with his furry companions. With the wolf as his spirit animal, Randy found solace and inspiration in its strength and wisdom.
Weekends were often spent at the family farm, where he enjoyed quality time with his son Brent and family, creating memories filled with laughter and connection. Cherished traditions included football Sundays or pizza and movie nights with his granddaughter. He greatly valued time spent with his extended family, the Houges, and shared a great friendship with his neighbor, “the other” Randy.
Randy’s warmth, wit, and love for family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Brent (Tammy) Frauenkron; life-long friend and partner in crime, Joanne Houge; granddaughter, Samantha Frauenkron (and her mother Kathleen Greener); sister, Lynn Yancey and her family; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by parents, Ralph, Juanita and Florene Frauenkron; daughter, Stacey Lee Frauenkron; and sister Judy Tillman.
Randy’s family would like to thank the community of Holmen for their assistance.
There will be no memorial or service at this time at his request.
Randy is very much missed by all of us. He had such a gentleness about him and he was always so easy to be around. I loved him as family and friend as we all did..he is at peace now and with his daughter Stacey and all the rest of his loved ones.
Randy was my best friend all through grade school and into high school. We always bought our 45 RPM records and shared the music, enjoying “Telstar”, Walk don’t Run, Wipout, and the 60’s hits. I hung out at his place or he would be over to my parents, Gene and Elsie Geiwitz. If the family sees this, I would love to reconnect with them and share other memories and catch up with the family I remember. Bob Geiwitz, bviking@charter. Net.
