Richard “Dick” Thomas Hurst, 60, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2016 in his home. He was born on July 4, 1955 to Thomas and Dina Hurst. Dick served his country for four years in the United States Air Force.

Dick loved to spend his free time rebuilding cars, trucks, and motors. He enjoyed fishing, cook outs, and cold beer. Most of all Dick loved to spend time with his family and friends. Dick lived his last few months with the philosophy, no regrets, don’t look back, and he knew what was coming and saddled up anyway.

Dick is survived by his wife, Teresa Secord; son, Austin; mother, Dina Mc Donald; sister, Jana Holler, best buds, Dick Zeisler, Larry Flottmier, Dave Gaut, and “Little Steve” Davis; friends, Peggy and Joanie; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hurst.

According to Dick’s wishes no formal services will be held.
