Richard E. Thompson
Richard Eugene Thompson, 70, passed away November 19, 2024.
Born Nov. 22, 1953, to the late Alvin and Elaura Zillig Thompson, at St. Ann’s Hospital in La Crosse. He graduated from La Crescent High School in 1972.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Thompson; 2 brothers-in-law, Bill DeFlorian and Mike Dwyer.
Richard worked for The Company Store for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Thompson; 3 grandsons, Ethan, Alexander, and Isaiah; five sisters, Gloria DeFlorian, Linda (Orlan) Denzer, Sharon (Joe) Langue, Deb Loomis-Dwyer and Donna Thompson; two brothers, Gary (Jane) Thompson, and Ervin Thompson, many nieces and nephews.
A family memorial will be conducted at a later date.
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Is this the son of Alvin and Elora Thompson? If it is then he is my cousin.
Yes Mike this is my brother Richard they found him died on his floor he had been died since Nov 9th
Mike, Richard was laying in his bed. He died in his sleep and had been gone for approximately 12 days. Thank you so much for asking about him. We are still working on the burial arrangements.
