Robert “Bob” Arnold Pendleton
Robert “Bob”Arnold Pendleton, Age 79, Of_La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and siblings.
He was born on March 26, 1945 to Gertrude and Arnold. He married Phyllis Lane on July 16, 1966 in Embreeville, Tennessee.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his loving wife of 58 years, golfing with his brother-in-law Rick, fishing, walking his dog Beau, working in the yard, watching sports, cooking, enjoying all types of music, and lunches with the Logan High School Class of ’64 alumni.
Bob is survived by his wife Phyllis, two children Robie (Melanie), DeDe (Troy), 3 grandchildren Tony, Collin (Sara), Shelby, 7 siblings Donna and Bob Kostecki, Richard and Janelle Pendleton, Mary and Dan Johnson, Jean and Peter Smith, John and Beth Pendleton, Patty and Pat McKenney, Judy and Rick Kehr, brother and sister’s-in-law Byrd and Shirley Lane, Verna and Jackie Bailey, Kenneth and Angela Lane, Liz and Tim Salling, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold “Arnie” and Gertrude, father-in-law Clyde Lane, mother-in-law Allie Mae Lane, brother-in-law James “Buddy” Lane, sister-in-law Nancy Duncan.
The family would like to thank the entire team at Gundersen and First Responders who provided exceptional care for Bob.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials preferred to the Logan Booster Club, to establish a memorial scholarship in Bob’s honor.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at The Gathering Place Building, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, WI. Interment with military honors will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in La Crosse, WI.
My heart is with Dede, Rob and Aunt Phyllis. May God hold you and comfort you. May He give you strength and will to bear your grief. May you feel the love and support of all your family and friends.
