Robert Louis Cortopassi, 58, of La Crosse, formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2015 at his home in La Crosse. He was born March 6, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Louis and Marie Cortopassi.

Bob enjoyed fishing, stock car racing, telling jokes, casino trips with Aunt June, and he was a huge Chicago Blackhawk and Bears fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Marie, Kimberly; grandson, Ethen; sister, Joan; brother, Scott; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lois.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb, IL with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Father John Parr will officiate.

Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
