Obituary
Robert Richard Priebe
Robert (Bob) Priebe, 60, of Islamarda, FL and formerly La Crosse, died after a lingering illness on Monday, October 7, 2013. He was born on March 20, 1953 in La Crosse to Robert and Sarah Priebe. He attended St. James and graduated from Aquinas in 1971.
In his youth he was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed fixing and racing cars. He joined the family plumbing business and eventually Bob and his brother Dennis purchased the business from their father. After a period of time they formed separate businesses. After operating the business for 5 years, he moved to Southern Florida and continued in the plumbing business until medical conditions forced him to retire.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Thompson; brother, Dennis Priebe; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother and brother, Terry.
Bob’s wish was for his body to be cremated with a private service held at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Priebe Family,
My niece Debi was married to Bob. We have many fond memories of many happy times with Bob. Our son (now 41) remembers Bob as always paying attention to him and talking to him about construction. My deepest sympathy to you.
Connie (Carpenter) Duff
My heart is sad and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I met Bob in our high school years and have so many wonderful memories of him. He was always one of the most giving and hardest working people I have met during my lifetime. We are all so individual and it was a pleasure to know Bob. May he rest in peace.
My prayers and sympathy are with Dennis and the family.
