** Celebration of Life has been canceled due to inclement weather **

Rodney D. Rieck, 76, of Black River Falls passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on December 2nd, 2021.

Rodney was born February 2nd, 1945 in the town of Waucuta, Minnesota, the son of Arnold and Irene (Bade) Rieck.

Rodney grew up in Bay City, Wisconsin and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1963. In the first part of his life, he did farming with his dad. He spent the second half of life as a truck driver for various companies and later became an owner/operator for many years.

In 1969 Rodney married Constance Ruth Foster in Eau Claire. They had one son, Jason. Rodney met Gemma Nabors and they were married on September 21, 1985.

Rodney is survived by his wife Gemma, his mother Irene Rieck, son Jason (Nandi) Rieck and Granddaughter Kennedy. A stepson James Thomashide, Step-daughter Sabrina Thompson, and her children Russell and Canyon. Step-daughter Melissa (Chuck) Schwabenbauer and children Chase and Janessa.

Rodney is also survived by his brother Roland (Janet) Rieck, sisters Lynda Rieck and LuAnn Dahl, as well as nieces and nephews.

The Family would like to thank Black River Hospice for all the care provided for Rodney.

The original Celebration of Life scheduled for December 11th, 2021 has been cancelled due to inclement weather. An update will be posted when the Celebration has been rescheduled.
