Russell Howard Stenslien, 79, of La Crosse, passed away October 3, 2016 with his family by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Stenslien; daughter, Paula Kildahl; son, Krist Stenslien; grandchildren, Katie Kildahl and Hannah Kildahl.

The family would like to thank Charles Link for his compassion and friendship, Christine Bakken for her help just when it was needed, Barb Quillin for her daily calls of support and encouragement, and the neighbors at Eagle Crest South for their support.

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held. A private interment will be held at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
