Seth T. Sebranek
Seth T. Sebranek, 37 of West Salem, WI, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Seth was born on November 3, 1978 in La Crosse, WI, to James A. and Pamela A. (Lankey) Sebranek. Seth was a 1997 graduate of West Salem High School in West Salem, WI and graduate of Western Wisconsin Technical College in La Crosse, WI. Seth grew up loving hockey and other sports. With the birth of his first son, Devin, Seth’s attention quickly switched to being a father. He devoted his life to his sons. His legacy to them will be one of kindness, love and compassion. Seth’s other interests included music and reading. He was lucky to have been a part of a family rooted in the world of bluegrass music and enjoyed spending time with family and friends at a variety of musical events. Seth was also a devoted father, son, brother, cousin uncle and friend who’s kind and gentle demeanor had a positive affect on many.
Survivors include his two sons, Devin Viner and Teegin Olson (both of West Salem, WI); father, James A. Sebranek of West Salem; brother, Joshua J. Sebranek, M.D. of Oregon, WI; many aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela A. (Lankey) Sebranek; grandparents, Wayne and Arlene Lankey and Virgil and Joyce Sebranek; aunt, Diane Lankey; uncle, Doug Sebranek; and second cousin, Henry Thomas.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. Rev. Bonita Dorscheid will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the service at the cremation group on Thursday.. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
