Shannon Lori (Peterson) Rochester
Shannon Lori (Peterson) Rochester, 40, of La Crosse, WI, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
She was born on November 27, 1979 to Don and Deb (Mattie) Peterson.
Shannon and Robert were married on August 28, 2004 in La Crosse, WI.
Shannon loved spending time with her children, Kyrstin and Ian. She was a true Warriors performing arts mom and enjoyed watching her daughter perform. Shannon loved fish-frys, playing cards, going to the casino, crocheting, fishing, being outdoors, reading, and traveling. Her best friends were her mother Deb and her mother-in-law Sue. Shannon’s family remembers her wonderful sense of humor. Over the years she travelled to Florida where she saw the butterfly gardens, Hawaii, and notably Notre Dame where she saw her daughter perform with the Warriors.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Rochester; daughter, Kyrstin and son, Ian Rochester; parents, Deb and Don Peterson; mother and father-in-law Sue and Bill Johnson; Bob and Pam Rochester; grandfather, Ron Mattie; Grandma Carol Lee; great grandma, Elsie Mattie; Judy Peterson, aunt and godmother, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandma, Janice Mattie; grandpa, Cecil Peterson; grandma, Leda Peterson: grandpa, Robert D. Rochester; grandma, Dorothy Johnson; aunt, Sue Poellinger; aunt, Cheryl Nova; aunt, Judith Bartle; uncle and godfather Jerry Peterson; uncle, Arnie Johnson, and cousins, Kevin and Kelly Peterson, Shawn and Brian Poellinger.
The family would like to thank all of the responders who helped Shannon and her family in their time of need.
There will be a visitation on October 24, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Coulee Region Cremation Group, The Gathering Place at 133 Mason St, Onalaska, WI 54650. Those who attend will be asked to wear a mask.
