Sherry Jereczek
Sherry Jereczek,70, of La Crosse and formerly of Dodge, WI, passed away peacefully at her home in La Crosse on June 9, 2014. She was born in Minto, ND to John and Marion Grzadzielewski. She married Richard Jereczek May 26, 1962 at Most Sacred Heart Parish at Pine Creek.
Sherry was retired for 10 years. She volunteered for many years as a teacher’s aide at the Sacred Heart Parish Catholic School. Sherry worked at Stott’s Glove Co., Woolworth’s, R.D. Cone’s Ace Hardware, AG Co-op, Dodge Oil, Golden Plump, Computerland, Rivercrest Technologies, and Desmond’s.
Sherry loved to spend time with her family, especially during the holidays. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crafting, doing cryptogram puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Kevin, Kay, Kim, Keith, and Kurt (Darla); grandchildren, Mali, Paige, and Nick; sister, Carol (Joseph) Wener, brothers, Butch (Ginny) Grzadzielewski, and Pat (Judy) Grzadzielewski; and beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Most Sacred Heart Parish at Pine Creek. The Rev. William Kulas will officiate with interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitations will be held on Friday, June 13th from 4 – 7 pm with a rosary service at 6:30 pm at the Coulee Region Cremation Group and Funeral Home, 133 Mason St., Onalaska and also one hour prior to the mass at the church on Saturday.
Dearest Richie, Children, Carol, Butchie and Pat: We are saddened on hearing of Sherry’s passing! We knew that she hadn’t been well for some time, and every night Bob and I prayed for both Sherry and Carol! Have so many fond memories, and am so thankful for them! We know how difficult it is for you right now, and we are holding each of you in our hearts and prayers! Love to all..Bob, Betty and family

I was deeply saddened by the news of Sherry’s passing. Please accept my heart felt condolences. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the services as Friday is my last day of classes and my youngest will graduate from high school on Saturday. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in your loving memories of Sherry.
