Steve Nehs

Steve Nehs, from Trempealeau, passed away unexpectedly, due to his suffering of COPD.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Roe Nehs; and his daughters, Jennifer Nehs Kessenich (Roger), of Trempealeau, and Jessica Ann, of Milwaukee; son John (J.J.) Nehs, of Florida. He is the loving grandfather of Brittany Marie Nehs, Katie Lawrence (Alex), of Watertown, Kyle Kessenich, of Trempealeau, Taylor, Payton and Alex Podlesnik, of Milwaukee, Max, of Winona; and a great-granddaughter, Braylynn Bellini. He also is survived by his sister, Linda Nehs Newman (Jim), of Trempealeau, and many other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his father Beau A. Nehs, and mother, Annie F Schmidt.

Steve retired from his self-employment t from SLN Field services, which he was a consultant, and it allowed him to travel and worked all around the world, also the former owner of Main Stream Cafe in Trempealeau

He had a love of his family and his many dogs, along with model railroading and the Trempealeau eagles.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.

    I am so sorry for your loss, I always loved when we would come visit, I couldn’t wait for Steve to take me downstairs and turn on and show me his latest train setup! It was so fascinating to me! My thoughts and prayers are with all! May God Bless

      Thank You so much Brenda, with his declining health the last few months he took such great joy in watching the eagles nest on his computer but also know that they were only two houses up the street. It gave him such great joy…
