Steven Kent Liles age 63 of La Farge passed away Sunday May 17th at his home surrounded by family and friends after his battle with cancer.  Steven was born in La Crosse to Robert and Gloria (Severson) Liles on July 10th 1956.  He graduated high school at West Salem High class of 1974.

Steve was a man of many traits, he worked many different jobs throughout his life.  He worked at CAP for many years where he made lifelong friends.  His interests were playing guitar, expressing himself through various forms of art, listening to music, drawing, going to car shows, building and repairing just about anything, fishing, spending time with his loved ones, and creating music.  Steve’s biggest passion other than his family was playing guitar.  It didn’t matter if it was in the middle of the night or middle of the day he would be strumming away at his guitar.

Steve enjoyed building things for not only his own children but other children from the neighborhood.  He built an igloo, swimming pool, and a steering wheel bicycle.  Steve enjoyed working on cars with his son and art projects with his daughters.

Steven is survived by his son Luke (Lynette) Liles of La Farge, daughter Lacey (Jesse) Post of Richland Center, and grandchildren Chase and Karston Liles, his sister Linda Harper of Onalaska, brother Larry (Jan) Liles of West Salem, sister Angie (Mike) Horge of Onalaska, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and bandmembers.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Nelson, mother Gloria, father Robert, his grandparents, brother-in-law Mike Harper, and great-nephew Kyle Harper.

A memorial service will be held at the La Farge Free Methodist Church 214 South Cherry Street on July 11, 2020.  To follow a celebration of life will be held down on his land in Viola. 222 West Wisconsin St. Viola wi, 54664
