Susan Dawn Schall
Susan Dawn Schall 51, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, at Gundersen Health in La Crosse. She was born September 13, 1971 to Robert and Darlene Dayton.
In 2001 at English Lutheran Church Susan married Brian Schall. She taught Spanish for twenty five years at Longfellow Middle School in La Crosse. She loved basketball, pets, volunteering at Coulee Region Humane Society, and spending time with her husband.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother Darlene Dayton of La Crosse.
She was survived by her husband Brian, her father Robert Dayton, brother Michael Dayton, niece Raven and many special friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, June 25th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street Onalaska. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Rest in peace Señora Schall, you were a great teacher and such a patient, caring soul. We’ll all miss you, thank you for teaching us.
Mrs. Schall was my Middle School Spanish teacher in 2017. She was an amazing, and kind woman who also had a very strong influence in my life. She will be greatly missed. Sending my love to her family and friends. ❤️
We are so sorry to Brian and her family for your loss of such a wonderful woman. She seemed to be constantly on the the go doing for others. I’m missing her smile and the talks we had. I’m so glad that I brought Starbuck into her family and it brings a smile to me everytime I think of how happy it made Sue. She will be very missed by all.
