Obituary
Thomas C. Weise
Thomas C. Weise age of 52 passed away on June 10th, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin and at the age of 9 relocated with his mother and brothers to Texas where he completed his high school education. He moved back to La Crosse in 2018 and worked as a security guard at Securitas until he became disabled. His interests included reading, collecting coins and fishing but most importantly, he could not get enough of his coffee.
He is survived by siblings; Carla (Weise) Pena, Karen (Weise) Walchak, Nancy Weise, David Weise and Tim and his wife Krissy Weise, Aunt Beverly Pollock and Uncle James Thompson along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. Weise and M. “Joyce” (Thompson) Weise.
A private gravesite burial will be held.
Never cook without imagining Thomas sitting in “his” place at my table, which I set up the last couple of years so he didn’t have get up for minor things. Prepared extra-potent coffee for him, even toward the very last, so strong that among my friends, only Thomas and Charlie enjoyed it. Had his “dedicated” cups and even a joke extra-size jar-as-glass with a symbolic “MLT” on it–so many private jokes no one else will understand.
My condolences to the close family of Thomas. I wish I could have met this fellow coffee lover in person. He seemed like a kind soul and I will miss messaging with him.
