Thomas Patrick Bryant, 58, of La Crosse, passed away July 23,2021 at his home in La Crosse.  He was born on May 16, 1963 to: Robert & Maureen (Finn) Bryant in La Crosse.

Tom graduated from De Soto High School in 1981.  He went on to pursue an art degree from UW La Crosse.   It was at UWL that he found his way into the service industry.  He began working as a waiter and never looked back. He spent time in New Jersey and Wisconsin, working in various establishments. Thru his travels he developed a passion for food.  He enjoyed trying new techniques and recipes sharing his creations with family and friends.   He enjoyed socializing and sharing stories with the customers he served.  He was particularly fond of trivia and looked forward to the friendly competition of a good Jeopardy match.  Tom had a great sense of humor;  his wise cracks, expressions and gestures will live on in our memories.

He is survived by: his brother Michael (Stacy) Bryant, sister Kathy (Stan) Roush, nephews Jon (Melissa) Bryant, Alan Bryant, nieces Tamara Bryant, Kassandra Bryant and last but not least, Lindsay (Rob) Burttram.  He is further survived by cousins, Tim (Kim) Candahl, Karen (Mark) Bendel, Theresa Candahl and Cousin Mary. We all fight our own battles and Tommy had his but he was a kind hearted, talented, funny man. Such a smart ass but that is what drew me in like a moth to a flame that “sassy mouth” runs in the family. I still have some pottery he made and lord knows the man could cook. I feel bad that i haven’t seen him since lunch at houghtons a while back . He is finally at peace. Love to you all . RIP TOMMY …..CANCER SUCKS

I remember Tom from childhood/High School days. We had so much fun playing catch up by the legion, swimming and playing Frisbee at the lock and dam in Genoa, playing Euchre and yes, once in while getting drunk. Someone mentioned cooking, he could bake as well. We used to make donuts and spice cake from scratch as bored teenagers on sunday afternoons. Good times with a great guy. I can’t imagine making it through childhood without him. RIP Tom, Lots of love and hugs
