TOBY (Tracey Oakes) BIEHL, 1959-2021

Death came near dawn February 12 at Mayo Hospital in La Crosse. His wife Rose, nee McDoniel of the Ho Chunk Nation, died last June. Tammy Ohlhauser, her daughter and various nieces gave appreciated help to him. Ronald “Red” Biehl, father, rests in a plot near Myrick Park. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

Toby lived in this house in La Crosse when a child and moved back after marriage to Rose to spend over 20 years here. Toby’s mother, Marlen, nee Tischendorf and Ron Fosse, stepfather, raised him along with brother, Aane and Oona Fosse, a sister. They reside in Minneapolis. Relatives and friends across the states scatter affection for this fine, curious man. Rock drummer, chef, his freedom call, bicycle for transport and poetry.
