Obituary
Todd M. Wright
Todd M. Wright, 45, of Holmen, passed away on November 3, 2019 from complications due to appendiceal cancer.
Todd was born on February 4, 1974 to Darryl and Barbara (Knobloch) Wright of La Crosse. He grew up on Brice Prairie and went to school in Holmen.
On October 18, 1997 he and Tonia Reibel were married. They have two children; Calvin (20) and Clara (14).
Todd loved his family and working with them on their farm and in their landscaping business. Doing the landscaping was his work, but also his fun and his life. He viewed his customers as friends and sort of family to him and his family. He loved to talk to people and get new ideas. He loved that Calvin works with the business and will carry on what he has started. He was sad to leave his family and work behind.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Myrtle Knobloch; father, Darryl Wright; and mother in law, Francine Reibel.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 8, from 4-7 PM at the Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska, with a service to be held at 7 PM.

I’m really sad to hear about this. Todd was an extremely kind man and has helped sculpt a very large part of who I am today. Working for, and with him, taking care of the young calves on the prairie, milking cows at the Knobloch’s organic dairy farm, and laboring with the landscaping business as well. I will always appreciate the many things I learned from him, and because of him. Thank you Todd, for helping me realize my passions and for being a great person. I am very sorry for the deep loss Tonia and their children have to suffer through. I wish the best for all of you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Todd was a great person and was glad to be a friend of his during our middle/high school years. Between Boy Scouts and working on three wheelers, I learned a lot from Todd. He will be dearly missed.
I’m so sorry for your loss Tonia, Calvin,Clara. Remember all the good times you had with him. Todd would always tell me when I was with him ” no problem “, which at some point something always became a problem. But that is why we had so much fun and may have got us in some trouble sometimes. Especially at grandma’s house. I know he did the somethings with Calvin and Clara.
Love you guys

Tonia, Calvin, and Clara…
I am so sorry for your loss. Todd was an extremely hard worker. He was a wonderful role model, teacher, father, and husband. You three were so very blessed to have him in your lives. I know he loved and cared for you all so much. His goofy sense of humor and comedic ways will always be a highlight of my childhood and all the good times we had together with our grandma. Todd definitely carried her generosity, kindness, and gift to gab forward in his too short of time here on earth. I’m proud of you and Todd for the beautiful, smart, caring, dedicated, hard-working children you two have raised together. Let them always serve as a reminder of what is still bright and beautiful on this earth. Love you guys! ♡♡♡
Tonia, Calvin, & Clara:
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Todd definitely filled his boots with many jobs sometimes wondering if perhaps he took on too much, but his famous line “No problem” always got the job done. I can picture grandma having the table set when he arrived in heaven with perhaps a fried chicken dinner and maybe a pie or two. Sending you all extra love and support during this time of grief. ♡♡♡
Tonia, Calvin and Clara: There are no words to express my sympathy for your loss. We feel truly blessed to have been a part of his life and all of yours. There was always a twinkle in his eyes and kind and loving words to be said by him. We loved him dearly. Todd was many things, too many to list, but most of all he was a friend to all and a caretaker of many. Thank you for allowing us into your lives.
