Obituary

Tony (Anthony) F. Krajewski

July 3, 2025 | 11 comments

After a long battle with cancer our dearest Tony (Anthony) Krajewski left us on June 30th to join daughter Kimmy in Heaven.

Tony was born in La Crosse, WI on January 6, 1951. He attended Logan High School and met the love of his life Susan (Schnell) Krajewski. They were married on July 19, 1969. He attended Western Wisconsin College with a degree in computer programming. He also received a black belt in Six Sigma.

He spent many years working as a quality manager/ engineer and traveling to other states as his work required. After retiring in Florida, he returned back to Onalaska where he worked as lead receiver at Holmen Festival Foods. His other passion besides his wife and daughters was fishing. Known to his friends and family as “Captain Tony” he spent a lot of time on the Black River and Chippewa River reeling in the Crappies and Northern Pike. Tony and Susan were members of the Sunfish Days/Onalaska Anglers for several years. They made many long-lasting friendships with this great group of people.

Tony had a life-long love of the outdoors, home improvement projects, and everything mechanical. He always made sure that his girls came along for his outdoor adventures, including many trips to Canada to find the perfect fishing holes. He had a great sense of humor, and every lesson he shared always had a little laugh with it.

Tony is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Shelli (Bill) Kult of Onalaska, sisters Rose (Dennis) Napoli of Brownsville, MN and Bernadette (Bill) Jacobs of Baltimore, MD, sister-in-law Sally (Ron) Sikora, Anna (Steve) Schnell and brother-in- law Scott (Judy) Schnell and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly, parents Francis and Virginia, sister Theresa Valley and brother Donald (Bill) Krajewski.

We always told Tony there would be crappies in Heaven along with Lottza Mottza pizzas!

There will be a small Celebration of Life at a later time.

Will always love you to the moon and back, dearest Tony.

Condolences

Grew up with Tony on the 600 block of Avon St. Man, the trouble we got into and the stories of those days.

    Rest easy old friend,
The fish will be biting in Jo Lynn slough.
