Tyler Gale Frankum, 40, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse, WI. Tyler was born on July 9 to Ronald and Nancy (Orr) Frankum.

He enjoyed camping in the wilderness with his cat, Venture, under the stars, making things from woods and rocks, and walking on the trails. He loved April Fool’s Day, and he also loved animals. His apartment was set up for his cat, Venture.

Tyler is survived by his mother and father; brother, Ronald; step-nephew, Jerry Moldenhauer (Mellisa); step-nieces, Sandy Moldenhauer and Krystal Skrukrud; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin; grandparents; cousin, Joshua Orr; sister-in-law, Linda; aunts and uncles; Dog, Doogy; and cat, Oreo.

Thank you to the doctors and nurses at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, Donor Team and all the many others that have helped him. Tyler was a donor, saving many lives; he will live on, and we are so proud of him.
