Walter “Wally” William Krieger
Walter William “Wally” Krieger, 85 of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, in Wauwatosa.
Born on July 9, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wally lived a fulfilling life that was rich in simple joys and quiet dedication.
Wally dedicated many years of his professional life as a skilled Pattern Worker, where his attention to detail and work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Outside of his work, he was an avid lover of physical activity and spent much of his leisure time bike riding, playing tennis, and jogging. These activities brought him great joy and kept his spirit youthful and vibrant.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Clara and Erdmann Krieger, whose memory he cherished deeply.
A beloved husband and cherished friend, Wally’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, as they remember a man who found happiness in simplicity and strength in humility.
Wally is survived by his devoted wife, of 54 years, Barbara Krieger, who stood by his side through all the seasons of his life; his children: a daughter, Julie (Craig) Morgan; and his son, Steven (Stacy) Walter Krieger; 5 grandchildren, Cypress (Tyler) Krieger Wright, Evan, Holly, and Cole Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Carter Wright.
Rest in peace, dear Wally. Your humor, kindness, and steadfast love will be missed but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13037 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm, in the lounge, prior to the service in the chapel.
