Obituary
Wayne Allen Hadley
Wayne Hadley passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024, at his home in Onalaska.
He was born in Vernon County, WI on September 2nd, 1952, to Kenneth and Darlene (Boggs) Hadley. He was married to Linda Harris, and they were later divorced.
He graduated from La Farge High School in 1970 and thought fondly of his time there. He also served in the US Army from 1972 to 1974.
Wayne’s interests included fishing, bowling, softball and deer hunting. In his retirement years, he enjoyed a simple life which included watching westerns and sports on TV. He especially enjoyed get-togethers with his family where everyone enjoyed his wit and humor. He could always bring a chuckle, whether he meant to or not.
Wayne is survived by his three sisters, Marjorie (Joseph) Decker, Karen Hadley and Melinda Hadley, two brothers, La Verne Hadley and Arlen (Diana) Hadley, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, and his special aunt, Phyllis McGinnis. All will miss him dearly and often.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Darlene Hadley and his sister-in-law, Arlene Hadley.
The family would like to express thanks to Officers Sullivan and Engen of the Onalaska Police Department for their compassion and help.
Services are pending and will be held at a later date.
Fly high with Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Wayne. I love you and I will miss you so very much! Please be my light, instead of telling me to get out of yours!
Wish to express my sincere sympathy to family and friends.
Thank you for your military service Wayne. May you find peace. Deepest sympathies to family & friends.
