William Earl Keer, Jr.
William “Bill” Earl Keer, Jr, 63, Of Onalaska, passed away suddenly surrounded by family on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse.
Bill was born on August 26, 1948 to Gertrude and William E. Keer, Sr. He married Janice Elaine Saar on August 15, 1981.
Bill was an investigator for the Food & Drug Administration for over 30 years, working in Wisconsin and Illinois. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor which brought smiles to all who knew him. He was the “go to guy” for family and friends and knew how to fix everything. He was a master woodworker and filled the home with his creations. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in his yard. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; sons, Adam (Jenny) and Luke (Desirae); sister, JoAnn; 2 grandchildren, Makenna and Rex; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1215 Redwood St., Onalaska. The Rev. Donald Stein will officiate. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the church before the service on Saturday. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
